Eligibility Criteria for TES-54
1. Nationality
- Applicant Must be an Indian citizen, or
- Applicant of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Applicant of Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1962, or
- A person who has a Indian origin, have migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or East African countries .
2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 16.5 years
- Maximum Age: 19.5 years
- Birth Date Range: 02 July 2006 – 01 July 2009 .
3. Educational Qualification
- 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCM.
- Minimum 60% in PCM .
- Candidate Must have given JEE Mains 2025 exam.

Selection Process for TES-54
The selection process consists of three stages which are listed below:
1. Shortlisting Based on JEE Mains & 12th Marks
- Candidates are shortlisted based on the basis of JEE Mains 2025 score and 12th PCM marks .
- The cutoff of TES 54 is determined by the Indian Army HQ.
2. SSB Interview (5-Day Process)
- Stage 1: Screening (OIR Test + Picture Perception Test)
- Stage 2: Psychological Tests (TAT, WAT, SRT, SD)
- Stage 3: Group Testing (GD, GPE, PGT, HGT, Command Task)
- Stage 4: Personal Interview
- Stage 5: Conference.
3. Medical Examination
- Candidates must pass a medical test.
